This design was made for Scene Design III. The project was to design a large scale opera or musical. the assignment required a full set of draftings, model, and photoshop elevations. The class was taught by Emerson's scenic design professor, Luciana Stecconi.

The opera takes place in 1945, in the hours before the first ever test of an atomic bomb. The design concept was to represent the enormity of this event by representing the bomb in a very historical light. Whereas everything around the bomb was altered by its ominous presence, creating an eerie feel.
