ABOUT THE DESIGN
This play follows the career of a very prominent female African-American basketball player agent who goes out on a limb for a new high school ball player because she sees more than he sees in himself. Throughout the play we see the downfall of both his and her career.
Designed by Emerson Alum Junior Johnson. The design created the feel of a basketball stadium. The stage was half of a true to scale basketball court complete with a net and a jumbotron with ads. It transformed the ¾ Thrust stage into a stadium.
